About the Artist
Nathan was raised by military parents. As a young child, living in several States and multiple countries deeply influenced his interest and pursuit of art. By 2009 when he started college, the Great Recession had pushed Nathan into accounting for job security. He began his professional career as a CPA with Ernst & Young, where he spent almost 7 years cultivating his business acumen and client-first attitude. Thanks to his lovely wife Melissa, as well as his supportive family and friends, Nathan found the courage to develop his skills and eventually start his own small art business.
Nathan draws inspiration from the world around him. As a private pilot, he finds unparalleled beauty and limitless imagination through the world of aviation, but he also enjoys the study of animals, people, and cityscapes. Nathan believes strongly in self-improvement through effort and the development of skill over time, and he credits his versatility to his endless willingness to try new styles and subject matter. He likes to say that if you can dream it, he can do it.
Nathan's mission with his art is to bring joy and faith to the people around him. He credits God to be the source of his inspiration and talent, and he firmly believes in the love and saving Grace of Jesus Christ. Nathan knows that this faith calls him to exuberate lovingkindness to all persons, stewardship over our planet, and compassion for all living things under Creation.
Nathan would love to hear from you if you want to support local Chicago artists, if you love custom art, or if you just need a prayer. Visit the Commissions page for details.
